Evidences show that poorly ventilated buildings have higher risks of infectious disease transmission for patients, workers, and visitors. To reduce the risk of spreading pathogens through air conditioning system in our workplace, Print-Rite has established the following guidelines to all offices and factories according to the suggestions from the Government:
1. More cleaning: the air-conditioning system is cleaned and sanitized before hot season starts, and keep cleaning the vents frequently.
2. Reduce usage: colleagues are allowed to turn on the air-conditioners only in office hours and when the outside air temperature is 26℃ or above. It is encouraged to open windows instead of using air-conditioning system to cool down the workplace. Air-conditioner must be turned off when window is opened.
3. Improve ventilation: Windows must be opened for 30 minutes every 2-3 hours to allow air change.
4. Monitoring: Appoint person-in-charge in each floor of our offices and factories to monitor the usage of air-conditioner and ventilation arrangement.
