1) Ambient air for the reactivation process is initially filtered to protect the dehumidifier components.

2) This filtered air is then passed through a heat recovery module to pre heat the reactivation air and improve the energy efficiency of the reactivation process. 

3) The pre-heated air travels through an insulated duct to minimise heat loss.

4) Drying capacity control is achieved by regulating the temperature of the reactivation air to a maximum of 140°Cdb by means of electric/steam/gas or a combination of two heat sources.

5) This heated air is then passed through a section of the rotating silica gel rotor, driving off the moisture adsorbed during the drying of the process air.

6) The warm/ high moisture content air (generally between 50-60°Cdb at full power) coming off the rotor is then passed through the heat recovery module before being expelled to atmosphere.
