Two: air supply method

1. Downward air supply

The precision air conditioner in the equipment room sends cold air under the floor, and opens air supply openings on the floor near the rack. The cold air is then sent out to cool the indoor equipment. The location and number of air outlets need to be carefully arranged.

Regardless of whether the upper air supply port is an air duct or no air duct, the cold air sent by the air conditioner is first mixed with the hottest air, and the mixed hot air is used to cool the cabinet and other equipment.

The cold air is sent from the lower part of the air conditioner and flows on the floor plane. According to the principle of hydrodynamics, the cold air is distributed in the middle and lower parts of the cabinet, forming a "surround" of cold air around the cabinet

The air rises after being heated, and flows in the room by "thermal power".

The computer cabinet draws cold air at the bottom. The forced ventilation equipment of the computer or the cabinet itself completes the air circulation. The heated air is discharged from the upper part of the cabinet. Therefore, the computer room and other places where the equipment is used are suitable for the downward airflow.

2. The circulation of the upper supply air in the machine room

Compared with the lower air supply method, the upper air supply method does not require an overhead floor, and the heat load per unit area can be increased by 10%, and the room floor height requirement is reduced. The ordinary room can be used as an engine room.

Because the cabinet is surrounded by cold air, compared with the lower air supply mode, the upper air supply mode is better for cooling the lower cabinet. For the upwind method, air ducts are not required and can be designed to avoid the occurrence of uneven temperature in the room. At the same time, it can save 10% -20% energy and reduce the air conditioning cooling capacity by 10%. Therefore, if the air treatment is required, it is suitable for upper air supply or front air supply.
