Overheat Protection

Air conditioning overheat protection is a safeguard mechanism designed to prevent damage to the air conditioning unit due to overheating. The compressor serves as the core component of the air conditioning system, responsible for compressing refrigerant for the cooling cycle. During compressor operation, a significant amount of heat is generated; if this heat is not effectively dissipated, the compressor's temperature will sharply rise.

Overheat protection functions by monitoring the temperature of the compressor and related components (such as the motor). Once the temperature exceeds a preset safety limit, the overheat protection device automatically cuts off the power to the compressor, causing it to stop working, thereby preventing compressor burnout or other serious damage due to high temperatures. This approach effectively extends the lifespan of the compressor and the air conditioning system, ensuring operational safety.
