The single effect absorption cycle is used as a refrigerant and lithium bromide as an absorbent. It is a strong affinity, and the two substances work together in a cycle. The entire process takes place near a vacuum.
1. Solution pump
2. After the generator exits, the heat exchanger - the action of the thinner upper shell solution.
3. Evaporator - The hydraulic refrigerant flows from the upstream casing down to the downstream shell condenser and evaporator, and the evaporator is sprayed in the tube bundle. Due to the low shell extreme vacuum [absolute pressure of 6 mm Hg (0.8 kPa)], the refrigerant liquid has a boiling point of approximately 39 °F (3.9 °C), creating a cooling effect.
