Precautions for central air conditioning cleaning

The accumulation of dirt on the surface of pipes, filters and heat exchange surfaces of the central air conditioner will cause the air conditioner to "work with disease", reduce the heat exchange efficiency of the system, increase the ventilation resistance, reduce the work quality of the air conditioner, increase unnecessary energy consumption, and greatly improve the operation cost of the system.

So how can we do a good job in the maintenance of central air conditioning, so as to maintain good use effect and normal service life of air conditioning? In the daily maintenance of central air conditioning, we should pay attention to the following problems:

1. Frequently check whether the electrical power supply of the central air conditioner is in good contact. If it is found that the power outlet wire or plug-in hair is hot when the air conditioner is running, it may be because the electrical wiring is too thin or the plug and socket are in poor contact. Corresponding solutions shall be taken according to the situation.

2. Pay attention to whether there is water leakage at the pipeline connection of the water system. If it is an air duct fan system, always observe whether there is refrigerant leakage at the interface of the refrigerant pipeline of the air conditioner. If oil stains are found in the cleaning of central air conditioner, it indicates that there is refrigerant leakage, which should be handled in time, so as to avoid insufficient refrigerant caused by long-term leakage, which will affect the refrigeration (thermal) effect of air conditioner and even damage the compressor.

3. The filter screen shall be cleaned regularly for, water system and air duct fan system. Generally, it is cleaned once every 2-3 weeks. When cleaning, take out the filter screen and brush off the dust on the filter screen with a dry soft bristle brush. Clean water can also be used to wash away the dust on the filter screen. Put it into the air conditioner after drying. For the environment with more dust, the filter screen should be cleaned more frequently to avoid too much dust affecting the air volume of the air conditioner.

4. The condenser and evaporator coil of the central air conditioner shall be cleaned regularly, and the dust on the coil shall be cleaned with a brush and vacuum cleaner. Note that during cleaning, the brush and vacuum cleaner should be cleaned along the vertical direction of the coil, not along the horizontal direction, so as not to damage the ribs of the coil.

5. When the air conditioner needs to be shut down for a long time (such as seasonal shutdown of the air conditioner), the air conditioner shall be fully cleaned. After the central air conditioner is cleaned, only turn on the fan of the air conditioner and operate for about 2-3 hours to dry the interior of the air conditioner.
