Phenomenon: the horizontal concealed fan coil unit of a hotel overflowed condensate onto the ceiling of the room, soaked the ceiling, damaged the decoration, and was forced to turn off hundreds of fan coil units, resulting in greatly reduced air conditioning load and abnormal operation of the refrigerator.
reason:
1) the insulation of cold water pipes, valves and fresh air pipes are all foam plastics, and the cracks related to the pipe wall are not well packaged, resulting in condensation of water and flowing along the cold water pipes, so that the insulation layer does not work.
2) The slope of the condensate pipe is too small or even no slope, resulting in the overflow of condensate in the water collecting tray and damaging the ceiling decoration.
3) Many fan coils have been stopped, and the cold water temperature is getting lower and lower, reaching 2 ~ 3 ℃, and the refrigeration system is a ring on each floor, which is too small. Because the load is too small, it is often forced to shut down.
Countermeasures:
1. The cold water pipe, valve and fresh air pipe shall be re insulated, and foamed polyurethane shall be used to eliminate the condensate in the pipeline.
2. Adjust the slope and direction of the condensate pipe to make the water in the collecting pan drain smoothly.
3. The four loops of refrigeration are combined into two loops, which solves the problem of tripping and shutdown due to small load.
