Water-Cooled Chillers Water-cooled chillers reject heat through a condenser-water system connected to a cooling tower. Advantages include: Higher energy efficiency in many operating conditions; Stable performance for large cooling systems; Suitable for large commercial and industrial projects; Lower noise in some applications; Better performance for continuous operation. However, water-cooled systems require: Cooling towers; Condenser-water pumps; Water-treatment systems; More installation space; Regular maintenance of the water circuit.
